Day Two of Marriage (Day one was boring)

Well so far, our marriage has included being stopped by the police for having the wrong license plate, late night hunts for food because we had no time to eat at the reception, searching for a screwdriver to put the new license plate on, being greeted by a rainy San Diego, a leaking toilet and wet carpet and an unexpected plumber. But it has been lots of fun and has made us laugh. :)

Today we went to the beach (only 47 steps) and rode bikes. Due to the RIDICULOUS amount of people who all had the same idea as us, to ride on the beach path, Amy was really distracted by a restaurant sign and crashed into another biker and bent the handle bars over. BUT it was the sunniest, most beautiful day ever! We made the beginnings of a sand castle and wrote each other's names in the sand and everyone kept reading our names as they passed. We loved the attention!

Tonight we are going to start our very own New Year's tradition of making a pizza, drinking Martinelli's and watching the late night concerts. Its also going to be a blue moon tonight so we'll watch that from the beach! So far this marriage has been nothing but a crazy adventure. If its this unpredictable now we can only imagine what the future holds!

Happy New Year from San Diego!!!

  1. I am so excited you have a blog! Congratulations on your marriage. Being Married is pretty much the greatest thing ever, besides kids. Those are good too. :) Anyways. Sounds like you are all having a great time!
