"They were the best of times, they were the worst of times"

Things have been pretty good here. I am enjoying teaching as I am learning how to be a better teacher. Josh likes his job a lot. He comes home and tells me about how he saw a huge blood clot and I cringe but manage to squeak out, "Cool, honey...". He has to work a lot though, on the weekends. Sometimes that's hard for me. I have things to do but I like to do them with Josh home. But that is life, I know I need to get used to it.

On Friday, I had 2 parents upset at me because of their student's grades. I feel like a failure as a teacher in this area sometimes. They both think I am not good at keeping track of grades and not letting parents know their grades in enough notice to do something about it. I just don't remember caring about straight A's in Elementary School...really?

Josh and I played "Settlers" last night with another couple. There was so much tension..and not between me and Josh this time, surprisingly! The other couple we played with got very mad at eachother, we looked at each other and laughed because that's usually how we are. But last night, I WON AND IT WAS AWESOME! I told him I don't need to play anymore, I have reached my goal of winning! Probably I will though...:)

Anyway I have about 200 thank you notes I need to make, so I'll write later. :)
