Pottery

So Josh surprised me last night and took me on a pottery-making date! It's been on our summer to-do list. It was a lot of fun! You pick out what you want to paint, you pick out your colors, there's a ton of tools and utensils to use, then you start painting! We had to put 3 coats on, so we'd paint, then use their blow dryer to dry it. Then paint again. After 3 coats of blue paint, we got impatient and decided to use red sponge paint over the whole thing. Needless to say, we don't claim to be professionals...but it will be a fun memory to have in our home! Here's some pictures.
