Well, I was granted one of those tender mercies from the Lord this week.
As you know, Josh and I went to AZ last Thursday night and flew back Monday afternoon. It was an AMAZING trip. I would love to live there someday. It was so wonderful to be with our families.
When we got back, we had 456,754,343 things to do. I was overwhelmed.
This is what I have to do this week:
--Catch up on grading the papers that piled up while I was gone.
--Make copies, plan for the week, etc.
--Tuesday night school meeting from 4-6:30 on Tuesday night. Scouts from 6-7. Go to my sisters like I promised to see her and borrow clothes :)
--Wednesday morning 7:15 Faculty meeting. 4:00 doctors appt until 5:30. Dinner, then pick up projects for relief society, take them to church by 9:00.
--Thursday- Doctors appt. at 4 until 5:30, go to Relief Society activity from 7-9.
So as you can see, I was just stressed I wouldn't be able to do anything else I like to do, like go on a bike ride, make dinner, read a book, etc.
So I prayed. I asked Heavenly Father to help me.
Well, he did.
As I was on my way to my doctors appt today, the doctor's office called and said I could just come in tomorrow and do both procedures on the same day (which by the way, I had asked them before and they said no. I think the spirit may have changed their mind).
I was so relieved. I was given, by the Lord, two extra hours. I wanted to do productive things with that time. So, I made dinner, watched Modern Family (while I ate and folded laundry, so don't judge me, okay?), called relief society sisters, did dishes, started laundry, folded laundry, called to report my claim about my car accident (to post about it later) and am now going to the gym.
God does hear and answer prayers!!!!!!
