I have come up with a list of things I need to do in order to be happy:
** Live with gratitude in your heart.
** Be happy for others (this can be HARD sometimes!)
** Smile and laugh more.
** You know that phrase , "Don't put off tomorrow what you could do today"? That phrase can be taken to an extreme. Sometimes I try to get too much done in one day that I forgot to stop, slow down, and do something fun.
** Read my scriptures and pray daily. This makes a huge difference for me!
** Be around people. I love my family, my coworkers, my students. We need each other to be happy.
** Invite others to do things with you.
** Create something--like a new recipe, a baby blanket for a friend, a poem.
** Be in the sunshine.
** Exercise and be active!
** Eat junk food EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE and healthy all the rest of the time :)
