It's a Girl!

So we're pretty excited. I love girls. I have 3 nieces and 2 sisters and many girl students. I get along with girls. I understand them. When they change outfits 20 times or are embarrassed to be seen if they haven't showered, I get it.

When we did the ultrasound, the technician told us our baby had its hand to its forehead--dramatic, already! haha. Not sure anyone's surprised since I'm her mother!

They said our baby is totally healthy, all the organs look great, brain development looks great, everything looks normal so far! I don't know about Down Syndrome though, we didn't get tested for that?

They also said they want to push back my due date until about January 11th. They said I'm about 2 weeks smaller than we had thought. That's okay with me, though it will be harder with work and my family trying to get time off. But babies have their own time schedules and we will work around it!

All in all, things are great, Josh and I are happy, and we have a little baby girl on her way. :)

P.S. We're thinking the name Aubrey Mel. But we do change our minds often...:)
