Nolan's home!!!!

Well, we have our Christmas miracle.

We get to take Nolan home in time for Christmas.

We could NOT be more excited!! We feel so incredibly blessed. He improved so much and we feel so grateful. When we look back on this entire journey (though it's NOT over, he has about a billion checkup appts with a cardiologist, a neurologist, a urologist, an endocrinologist, and the pediatrician), we can see the Lord's hand.

We were able to switch to 2 doctors that made smart and life-saving decisions in labor and delivery.
Every diagnosis we've been told has gotten better and better.
He was moved to Salt Lake Primary Children's Hospital, though it was far, they were so on the ball and he was only there for 4 days! They put him on track to get him home healthy as quickly and efficiently as possible.
My family is here to help us.
My school raised money for our medical bills.
My ward's quilt group made me a quilt.

Basically, I look at the presents under the tree and I look back at Nolan and I think, "He is the best present of all. He is our miracle baby."

I am amazed at our blessings. God is good. Merry Christmas!

  1. So happy to hear he'll be home for Christmas!! I just love these last two posts. I had Lincoln in October, so he was still so small in December and I had a lot of special moments holding him singing Christmas songs in the dark thinking about Mary holding Jesus, and just how real Jesus' existence is and was. I am so glad you get to experience this this year, too. Love you!
