Nolan's 1st Thanksgiving

Hey, remember that one time Nolan was sick on Halloween, even though we had a costume and were ready to deput the family of pirates at a friend's Halloween party?

Well. Nolan decided to be sick on his 1st Thanksgiving too! Well, his body decided to get sick :).

He threw up on me twice, then two more times. We tried feeding him only toast, bananas, water and applesauce (his favorite diet anyway) but he still threw up! He even threw up formula! So we just fed him tiny bits and waited it out.

We still went to Josh's "grandparents" (family friends) house for Thanksgiving because he seemed to be doing okay.

It was not the best day, to be honest.

Nolan was super cranky and I had to change my outfit twice. I only spilled pancake batter on my pants. Josh and I were tired, and Nolan's whininess was hard, to boot.

We tried feeling grateful all day, but we didn't genuinely feel thankful.

However, we are grateful for so many things. We love our son, we love our little family, we are grateful to have family friends who included us in their Thanksgiving celebrations though our families are far away.

We went to a friend's house for a Thanksgiving breakfast. Their son is giving Nolan big hugs!
