Well I graduated. I guess I should expect fireworks.. but it honestly has felt like I've been graduated for almost a year, because that's when I finished classes. It was quite the high to realize I'm done though as they hand me the diploma cover (I know, a little lamer than the REAL THING but hey..)I had such a great time at college. I LOVED college. Which is why I'm going to try to get my Master's. But today I went to take the GRE and missed it by 2 hours. :( So I have to go back in a couple weeks. Stressful. I know.
I read an AMAZING teacher book over my break called "Teach like Your Hair's on Fire" by Rafe Esquith. He gave me some good ideas for my class 1( more music 2) more art 3) more PE 4) more problem-solving 5) trust 6) reasonable punishments 7) Essay of the Week 8) Book Report of the Month 9) Reading Test based on how much they like the book.
He is very inspirational. I know I can make a difference someday. Being a first year teacher can just be SO discouraging.
Well I have about a million things to do so...I'll post more later . :) And pictures when I get them.
