This week has been really tough. Josh started spring term meaning he has a lot more to do and still the same time to do it in, while working 40 hours a week. I am working also full time WHILE trying to find a job and apply online for jobs and prepare a class play and big Pioneer day for the whole 4th grade this Friday.
Also, our internet broke. So, unable to apply for jobs online...
Also, rides have become almost impossible for me to find.
Monday, Josh didn't work, no ride problems.
Tuesday-Josh worked from 5-11, then class at 4. I get out of work at 4. A friend was supposed to pick me up. She forgot. Came at 5. Dropped me off at Scouts right before 6. Josh, out of breath on his bike, just got there, his class barely got out.
Wednesday-Josh worked from 5-5. I got a ride in the morning. In the afternoon, the same person forgot about me and went home at 4 without me. Luckily Josh got off early at 4:30, he came and got me. But again, stranded until a blessing came...Relying on miracles everyday for a ride home? Not so fun.
Thursday-Josh doesn't work, takes me to school. But has class at 4. I have an interview for a school at 4. So we're still planning THAT one out.
Friday-Josh works form 5-5. Get to school with a friend. Home? NO IDEA.
I have cried many tears this week and am fighting back pessisism more than I have ever had to. So Josh has encouraged me to look at blessings. Here's a few:
1) Josh is talking to his boss about moving his job to Provo, so he can ride his bike there, and I get the car. (Oh did I mention, I'm not very skilled in driving yet? Oh well.)
2) My facilitator took over for me all morning so I could borrow her car and go to schools in Nebo District.
3) Josh got off early Wednesday.
4) Josh apparently DOESN'T have class during Scouts.
5) Josh doesn't have to work Saturday anymore.
I guess you have got to count your blessings and if you can fill one hand with them, it's worth it.
P.S. Josh let me open a birthday present early.... A CAMERA!! :) So expect pictures on this blog. Oh yeah, once the internet works at our house again....
AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
Um I love you! :) And I know how discouragements can come. But I know you and you are always able to find a way to smile. You are awesome.
ReplyDeleteHey girl! Good luck with everything! I'm sure it will all work it's self out. How did the interview go?
ReplyDeleteA, it will all work out. Sometimes the Lord tests us for a while before He blesses us. I know it seems really hopeless right now but just keep moving forward, doing the things you're supposed to and it will work out. Remember Matt and I love you and you and Josh should move to Columbus and go to OSU! Then we could see each other every month!!!! That's a great idea. Love you lots. Send me an email because I lost your email. Emily still talks about you and today she told me, "Tomorrow we will get on a plane and go to Aunt Amy's house." We love you!
