"And He who receiveth all things in thankfulness shall be made glorious and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundredfold, yea, more." -D&C 78:19.
Well, you heard the man. Here it goes:
I'm grateful for...
--4 interviews in one week, all in the same field. And they all went well. Whatever happens happens but I know the Lord has a plan for me.
--My husband. I had a pretty positive week this week...until yesterday. Something happened and I burst into tears. That man puts up with SO much.
--Josh got a 90 on his anatomy lab final wahoo!!
-- A mom and dad that talk to me almost everyday, giving me support and listening.
-- A little sister in the same boat as me, who I can hang out with all the time.
-- An older sister who encourages me, even from far away.
-- Two adorable nieces.
-- Friends who cheer me up.
-- My cute Wolf Scouts I see every Tuesday.
-- Prayer. Amazing.
-- Scriptures. Amazing.
-- The temple. Amazing.
-- An income through the summer. Thank you!
-- I've finally come up with my perfect resume. I can move forward. :)
-- I am officially a highway stick shift driver!! I am getting so much better and am actually starting to like it.
-- My home.
-- Food. Josh made pizza last night. Yummy!
Well, that's it for now. I feel happy and hopeful.
Okay so WOOT for Josh getting a 90 on his anatomy lab final!!!! Congrats Josh!!! We've taken that class and know how hard you worked!
ReplyDeleteSecond, Amy, you are wonderful. This is a hard time for you right now. Just keep having faith. From my vastly more experienced life (2 years) than you, I can tell you that God will provide for you--but probably not in the way you're thinking, at the time you're thinking or how you're thinking He will. Keep moving forward. You are amazing. I love you so much.
Also, AWESOME on your driving! I'm SO proud of you for "sticking" with it! Ha, did you get that pun? That was pretty good. Now you can come drive my car.
I LOVE YOU.
Michelle, that was the nicest note I've ever gotten. Thanks for your support! Thanks for your added testimony, it helps to know I'll make it.
ReplyDeleteIs your car a hard stick shift to drive? Josh was thinking of asking his parents if we could trade his camry for the truck to transport things and I thought, nooooo I just mastered your car!!
I love you.
