“Love yourself—accept yourself—forgive yourself—and be good to yourself, because without you the rest of us are without a source of many wonderful things.”
I love this quote.
I had a day at school yesterday where I felt like the worst teacher.
All of yesterday I hated myself.
Then I found this quote.
And remembered: life is short. Forgive yourself. No one is perfect. Get down on your knees, ask for forgiveness from Heavenly Father and then, get up and try again!
Who said that quote?
ReplyDeleteTeaching is like riding a roller-coaster...there are highs and lows, and it's constantly changing! But there is nothing like the adrenaline rush you get along the way :) Always remember to counter the bad days with the good ones, and know that much of the impact you are having, you will never know. I often think I am a very boring teacher, so it always surprises me when students tell me how much fun they think my class is! I KNOW you are an amazing teacher, so don't give up!
ReplyDeleteThanks mom and shelly! I love you both!
ReplyDeleteShel--I don't know who said the quote...I'll look it up?
