Gossip

I was so shocked today when I heard teachers gossiping. I just talked to my students last week about putting yourself in someone's else shoes, understanding where they might be coming from. Everyone put one shoe in the middle, and then everyone took someone else's shoe. Then, you had to say something nice about the person whose shoe you had.

When we gossip, we are judging other people. We are also only seeing things from our perspectives.

I guess adults need that trade-shoes-so-you-know-what-it-feels-like-to-be-someone-else lesson too!
