6 Days Old

Well, what a day. I spent probably 4-5 hours in the hospital with Nolan today.

I tried feeding him in the morning but it didn't go too well. He ate 2 ml of milk and then fell asleep. But I got to cuddle for him an hour. Love. 

Then, I came home and rested and went to my Uncle's house for dinner. All I could do was think about Nolan.

Then I went back and tried feeding him again! He was very fussy and only ate a little. We tried breastmilk in a bottle and he seemed to take to that better but was still very worked up.

I am hoping with the breastmilk in a bottle thing, she said we will take him home sooner if he gets the hang of it.

I am trying not to have a deadline for this little guy to come home. I am trying to be patient and have faith and let the Lord have his own time table.

Also, they do hormone tests on him and everything looks normal so far.

We love our sweet Christmas miracle.
