Christmas 2015

Christmas was really beautiful. We were still pretty down because of the news that Bennett is still sick and that we needed to keep both boys isolated. I was worried that news would ruin our Christmas. But it didn't.

On Christmas Eve, we had my parents over for dinner. Josh and Erin made a Julia Child's recipe, a roast chicken. They rubbed it with butter and salt. Yummmm...and they trussed it. Meaning they stuffed it with sausage and apples, then tied the chicken up, with a yarn like needle.

Then, when my parents came over, we ate, opened gifts (Josh got a fitbit and I got a laminator!) then sang some Christmas hymns, and read Luke 2. Then, we put the kids to bed and got ready for "Santa". :)

The next day, Nolan woke up and Santa brought him a trampoline! He loves it so much. Friends of ours made him light sabers too.

We got Bennett a little sit and play. He played in it for an hour!
Josh got a grill, and I got a new Ninja blender!

Then, we went to Melody and Don's to open gifts. Josh's mom got Nolan magnet dinosaurs, Playdough. She got Bennett a little ball to help with fine motor skills .She got us new tools, and a stockpot. We have a joke about the stockpot. The first one, we burned. Second one, got lost in move. So this is the third stockpot she's bought us! Hopefully, we can keep this for a while :).

Then, we went to Grandma Pat's, had MORE food. She got him a car track with battery-powered cars that go up and down a looped-loop! Both boys were mesmerized for hours. Haha.

Then, we got to talk to my brother, Bryan on a mission! We had some technical difficulties but we worked it out ok! He is mature, and it was so fun to talk to him!

Josh took the boys' home because they were both soon tired and had such a long day!

Overall, it was a joyous Christmas!
