This Week

This week, I am trying to add up my blessings rather than my troubles. Here are the special blessings I noted this week:

--I had 34/35 parents show up for conferences. I am grateful so many parents want to be involved in their child's schoolwork.

--I was a little upset when Josh told me he would spending all of Saturday doing homework because he has a test Monday, a MCAT tutor session and other things, but as I was doing the dishes, he came over, gave me a hug, and told me all the things he loves about me. He sure knows me.

--I survived this week of 2 days working from 7 am to 8:30 pm. That is a blessing in it of itself!

--A friend of mine found out she's having a baby boy! Babies are blessings. I hope to be blessed with one of my own this year!

--Josh bought me pizza and watched my favorite TV shows with me when I got home yesterday.

--A student brought me a note that said, "I'm sorry our class is bad sometimes. You are a great teacher."

--My students loved the jeopardy game we played in math.

See? So many blessings!

I sure am happy this week is over, though. Is that bad to say?
