Our Happily Ever After: What We've Been Up To

It's been a long time since I've written! So I thought I'd catch up on life for each of us.

JOSH--After a period of an unresponsive University of Arizona and Raytheon Admission Offices, he finally was admitted to their Electrical and Computer Engineering Masters program! It is a 2.5 year program, but he is a non-degree seeking student for 2 semesters and must get above a 3.0 to change to a degree-seeking student. He has been working so hard and we haven't seen too much of him. But he plays with us when he can!

AMY--I have been busy with teaching Nolan's preschool group for the month of September, tutoring 2 students, and doing everything else around here ;). Nolan gets the brunt of my teaching ideas and energy, I've been having fun laminating games and activities for him!

NOLAN--Nolan does a weekly soccer practice, twice a week preschool group, and participated in his first Primary Program this past Sunday! His line was, "We put our trust in Christ". My mom said all they heard was the word "Christ", ha. My parents, grandma JoJo and Melody came to see him. It was fun! He did a great job at speaking into the microphone and not being shy. But he did want to sing the songs! He said he did not know how. So he sang the songs he does know--ABC's, etc.

We got the bike trailer up and running, we use it a lot!

We held a Toddler Olympics with our friends. It was a blast!

We watched his friend, JM, while his mom was in the hospital. They helped make homemade pretzels with Grandma Melody on Labor Day!

We went to the Sahuarita Fishing Festival and there was facepainting! Nolan wanted to be spiderman.

They took a bath together than I got Bennett out to get him ready for bed. Nolan jumps out of the bath, climbs into Bennett's crib naked to tell him a story. He is gong to hate me for this picture but oh, I love it!

We made 2 donut runs just this week. We may have a problem.

We went to the Pima Air & Space Museum for a preschool field trip.

Nolan and Jed

BENNETT--Mr. Bennett is busy making a super mess every time he eats, getting into some mischief, and walking!! He started walking around 13 months but now at 15 months, is getting more comfortable with it. We're working on getting up off the floor independently and pulling up independently. He's making progress! Unfortunately, he's having some trouble gaining weight. We see nutritionist regularly to help with that. We have to g tube him for supplemental feeding at every meal while he eats solid foods as well. He has changed formulas and has calorie rich drinks.
